1/ 🚨🚨🚨 MUST READ: An amendment that snuck into the FISA Section 702 reauthorization bill on Friday by @RepMikeTurner and @jahimes will actually ***expand*** the government's spying powers and poses a concern according to a FISA court advisor. news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/fi…
2/ “Because they won’t name the specific type of provider they want to cover, they are drafting overly broad language that will be interpreted to cover a variety of services, not the limited specific service they claim to need it for.”
@savingprivacy @Snowden @RepMikeTurner @jahimes Exactly! This is being quietly sneaked in to screw US up even further. And it comes from so-called "Republicans" in collusion with McJohnson. Crenshaw introduced his own 'lead' from the side. What a symbolism that it's the right eye he's missing.
@savingprivacy @Snowden @RepMikeTurner @jahimes Pay attention how certain people play specific roles to satisfy the needs of the agenda. Literally "sleeping with the enemy"
@savingprivacy @Snowden @RepMikeTurner @jahimes Collins reported 3 of these "sleazy and sneaky" amendments. Turner's and Crenshaw's are quite damning, making 702 much worse. There was a third one with apparently no real changes, possibly a distraction, or a piece to a bigger puzzle. WE ARE SOOOOO DOOMED!
