Justice Jackson tells Trump's lawyer that he seems to be "worried about the president being chilled." She argues that, in reality, a "really significant opposite problem" would emerge: "If the president wasn't chilled, if someone with those kinds of powers, the most powerful person in the world with the greatest amount of authority, could go into office knowing that there would be no potential penalty for committing crimes, I'm trying to understand what the disincentive is from turning the Oval Office into, you know, the seat of criminal activity in this country."
@kylegriffin1 Trump always thought he was above the law. That's why we're in this mess. Too chilled 😌
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 You mean not chilled at all.
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 And he had an entire corrupt GOP congress behind him allowing it all & never putting country first.
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 It's not just him! It's the entire party!
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 No. We're in this mess for all who abled and enabled him..
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 Sadly, and apparently, he is.
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 He's trying to con the court into declaring him king.
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 Correct. As a pathological narcissist, Trump would never admit to being at fault or in anyway culpable for any action he takes.
@sandiechill @kylegriffin1 Up to this point tRump has been above the law. The 2 tier justice system can only be reformed by VOTING BLUE
