Maori are stuck in the 1800s and the TOW is the reason. They cannot see the bars of their own prison cell.
@saltyreigns There is nothing wrong with being stuck in the 1800s dude, I am heading in that direction myself. My life was spent looking forward, but the future has turned to crap, hit the reverse!
@saltyreigns Not all maori see it that way. Many have worked hard and flourished.
@saltyreigns and i think the people cant see they have been used by the so called elites
@saltyreigns The irony being that Maori of that era embraced the modern world instantly, setting up produce trading and merchant shipping ventures, and adopting Christianity as a way out of bondage for the lower class and slaves.
@saltyreigns Hopefully no more ankle bracelets too. Maori that offend, bars are waiting for you
@saltyreigns Hha just trying to remind you lot what happened in the 1800s that’s all fulla…
@saltyreigns Only if they view the treaty as something other than an opportunity to benefit from the empire. Maori got the best deal imaginable.
@saltyreigns Only a small number are , the ones getting rich so why wouldn’t they
@saltyreigns Can’t see past the money
