@ZiaYusufUK Won't be voting Reform then. I have hundreds of years of Scottish ancestry on both parents side, however I was born in Africa. I'm British, just not born in Britain. Yet people with no British heritage will be prioritised because they happen to be born here.🤔.

Meanwhile the Tories are turning up to these by-elections like the kid who still thinks he's invited to the party when everyone else has already left. The only party looking properly non-consequential right now is the one whose supporters are reduced to cheering when someone else beats the party they actually hate.

Yet the UK's immigration rules require many African-born visa applicants to provide a negative TB test. Curiously, an individual born and raised in exactly the same circumstances, but who holds British citizenship through their parents, is exempt. One can only assume that TB has developed a keen interest in passport control and politely avoids anyone carrying a British passport.
