Probably for the same reason you critiqued a New York Times reporter for liking a Tweet, claiming it undermined their objectivity, while not offering any remote semblance of your own neutrality in any of your reporting in the situation. We want the same thing, but we have different ideas about how to get there. I think we have to unpack all the painful complexities of this situation to move forward. As best as I can tell, you think you can critique Israel into moving us forward. I truly hate that we don’t agree on this, because I respect you. I know it’s got to be strange times for you to directionally agree with Jackson Hinkle. It’s certainly strange for me to be agreeing more with Ben Shapiro. What I try to do is assume good intent from people I know working on things they genuinely believe in. That includes you.

@BriannaWu This doesn’t really answer the question though. Seems you want it both ways?
My opinion is exactly what I have said. There is no subtext. I am not exactly good at hiding my opinions. Israel is essentially repeating America’s mistake post 9/11 and their reprisal has gone way too far. The humanitarian crisis in Rafah is indefensible, and I have said so repeatedly. I also don’t think the situation is as simple as a lot of my friends on the left seem to think. I feel compelled to say so since that’s the part of the conversation missing from my own side. I also think pragmatically we are alienating a massive percentage of our coalition, and no one seems to care. I would bet a lot of money that if someone compared to our Twitters, I have said more critiquing Israel than you’ve said critiquing Hamas. Which is fine. I know you do a different kind of work which is why I like you.
@ryangrim @BriannaWu She’s despicable . She’s being paid like a cheap escort .
@ryangrim @BriannaWu It should be clear to you that Brianna is bought and paid for. Ordinary people, no matter the side, don't stick to a narrative and continuously repeat talking points like this. They don't bother to dodge questions. When it looks like PR, it is PR.
@ryangrim @BriannaWu She got her experience from Iraq war.
@ryangrim @BriannaWu It does answer the question. You asked her to reconcile two things and she did. Her answer, by the way, was already perfectly obvious to anyone approaching this conflict with clearer eyes than your 2D adolescent twitter angst allows.
@ryangrim @BriannaWu Why don't we start with who we know is truly innocent without having to do any research or guesswork: the children. That includes any children that Hamas raped, tortured and either kidnapped or killed and any children that Israel has killed. ALL the children DESERVE to be ...
@ryangrim @BriannaWu She literally isn’t worth your time, she’s a worthless edgelord grifter
