@EdTheCrete @BilluhHanks @Gridiron_Media_ you can very easily sign a saftey who won't cost 11 million, and while i think barkley is a great player i cant see how signing at 27 year old rb to a long term deal makes sense.

@atcb how do you expose a types-only subpath? Like if i have "my-package/types" and there are no matching js files for that subpath just d.ts/cts/mts, how do you properly expose both the cjs/esm style types in your package.json exports? Does that makes sense?

@jay_soo I tried to use it and ran into the issue with workspaces/dist so I filed an issue and am talking with @AndaristRake about it there. I tried other solutions with monorepos but didn’t like them overall

@jay_soo The main issue is changesets doesn’t support a dist in the root and the case where no workspace from the pm is used. So fixing those issue then an executor May be the right play after that

@AndaristRake Yes - workspaces I don't think are required, but the `dist` is by default in the workspace root. So you may have a package like `packages/my-package/*` and that compilation is defaulted to `dist/packages/my-package/`. Workspaces would obviously point to the packages/* directory

@atcb are there any basic guidelines for when you as an author should publish only esm, or only cjs or both? We publish both but i'd love to reason as to why we don't need to.

@AndaristRake However from my reading of the docs it seems the best path would be to just use a snapshot anyways, so i suppose i can just set that based on the target branch that was merged in

@AndaristRake how do you use changesets in the xstate repo to do prereleases? I havent been able to find where that is being set so it knows to do prereleases vs stable
