Friends I had the opportunity of meeting the Indian Prime Minister on the 5th and Bangladeshi Prime Minister on the 13th of April. Presented her the copy of the book, From East Pakistan to Bangladesh. Great experience meeting them.
I don’t usually comment on tweets. But this one truly shocked me! I’ve been teaching Microfinance for 19 years in India where: 1) Average loan size is <Rs50K 2) There are ~6 Cr unique borrowers 3) Today the MFIN loan portfolio is approx 3L Cr… …this was our finance minister 🤦🏻♀️
