@gak_pdx We've got a wide range because we need to cut some bigger parts too, but I love our Brother machines, and Yamazen is the best company we've worked with.

That's fair, and Taiwan. We cannot afford the Japanese options for our machines because we compete with people who basically import machines by the pound from China. As much as everyone says they care about made in America, very few people are willing to pay anything extra when it comes time to pull out the credit card. But our Brother machines are awesome, so it's great they can pull it off.

10 years ago our sheet metal vendor would not put the parts on the truck after whatever lead time and down payment (they were half a state away). We finally badgered the guy enough to admit that he'd never made the parts. When they finally showed up, all of the PEM nuts had fallen out in transit.

We got our first VF2 delivered on Christmas Eve in 2014. There was no training schedule for 2015, and we'd never run an industrial CNC before. We were up and running in 2 days with nothing but the manual. The ease of use might be overrated, but it's still pretty good. A year later, Yamazen spent an hour showing us the Brother control on the first machine we bought, and we were good to go. They're both 100x more intuitive than the Fanuc. I understand how Fanuc got to where they are, but I still don't like it.
