It’s like the pinnacle of gaslighting to be actively denying access to cybersecurity features for all of your users while shouting from the rooftops how seriously they should all be taking cybersecurity. Sam could literally give everyone in the world the ability to harden their systems tomorrow, and he’s actively choosing not to. And his mountaintop pontifications from on high down to the rest of us plebs about the importance of cybersecurity and defense is meant to serve one purpose, to help him feel better and try to sleep at night and say he warned people about these dangers. But rest assured, when people get hurt by AI cybersecurity attacks (and they absolutely will) Sam is 1,000% the guy who could have stopped all of it and protected all of us and chose not to. He is 1,000% the person accountable for everything that will happen next.
