@realdoll03 Try post it notes - they are a much smaller area to fill and therefore less of a demand. Over time a collection of post-its can fill a page, but a huge blank piece of paper can feel like an enormous demand. If she texts. I might even call these paper texts - short and snappy.
@realdoll03 A scribe, it may be she has lots of thoughts but can’t get them out to perfection quick enough. So letting someone talk about the subject and another writing what they say can takes pressure off, and allows them to see their knowledge of the subject . Then it can be rewritten.
@realdoll03 tbh i agree with teacher, if she wants to she'll do it. zero pressure. eventually she'll find something she wants to do that requires it.
@realdoll03 No idea. Have retweeted & hope somebody with experience can offer a view. Seems very much like a demand type issue though.
@realdoll03 Patience required, and also an accepting, relaxed classroom, in which the excellent suggestions in this thread (eg dry wipe board, limericks etc) wouldn’t seem out of place/would be completely accepted by peers.
