@DrewBond407 @reaganreese_ @DailyCaller There are replacement aircraft being built by Boeing but they are horribly behind schedule and were supposed to be delivered in 2024. The first one will now not be delivered until 2028-2029. This is an interim plane until the new ones are delivered.
Boeing is expected to deliver the first of the two contracted VC-25B presidential aircraft (the next-generation Air Force One planes) in mid-2028. There's a separate interim "VC-25B Bridge" aircraft (a modified ex-Qatari 747-8) entering service in summer 2026 to bridge the gap while the original two are completed.
