1991: I followed a trapeze artist around a circus tent in awe of her and ran away shyly when she said hello. 2018: A boy of about 3 recognised me after an aerial performance, gasped, widened his eyes & reached for my hand. ❤🎪

THREAD. I'm organising a circus show to raise money to help the circus groups in Gaza after one of their most important training & performance spaces was destroyed by an Israeli bomb last month. Circus & theatre are such an important creative and social outlet for people in Gaza.
