The company hired me to lead their "Agile Transformation." I don't know what Agile means. Nobody does. That's why it works. I make $425,000 a year. To move sticky notes. From left to right. On a board. The board is digital now. The sticky notes cost $80,000 in Jira licenses. Progress. Day one, I said "we need to break down silos." Everyone nodded. Silos are bad. I don't know why. Forever means job security. I'm very secure. My contract was extended. Three more years. For "cultural impact." The culture is confused. But impacted. Agile transformation isn't about being agile. It's about transforming. Continuously. Toward more transformation. The destination is the journey. The journey is billable.

היום, לפני 45 שנים, התגייסתי לצבא ההגנה לישראל. נער בן 18, עם הרבה מוטיבציה ואהבה גדולה למדינה. ב-38 שנות שירותי עברתי תחנות רבות: מסלול, קורס קצינים, מבצעים, מלחמות, פיקוד על חטיבות, אוגדות ופיקודים. הצבא היה עבורי לא רק שליחות, אלא גם בית. בו למדתי על מנהיגות, על אחריות, את כובד המשקל של ההחלטות. האנשים שפגשתי והאנשים שאיבדתי לימדו אותי עד כמה יקרים חיי החיילים, וכמה בקלות אפשר לאבד אותם כשמנהיגות לא עושה את עבודתה נאמנה. מהמקום הזה, של אהבה עמוקה למדינה - אני מרגיש אחריות עצומה להילחם על דמותה. אני לא מוכן לוותר. לא על הדמוקרטיה, לא על השפיות, לא על מי ששלחתי לקרב. 45 שנים עברו מאז שהתחילה דרכי במאבק על המדינה, בימים אלה אנחנו נלחמים על דמותה ועל עתידה, בשביל הילדים שלנו, בשביל הנכדים שלנו - אנחנו לא נוותר.
