Marriage is real, and not a fairy tale. I prayed for a marriage that would glorify God but it required prayer, faith, commitment, wisdom, sacrifice, forgiveness, and maturity to go the distance. Marriage is a 'covenant' before God, not a contract. Honor God with your marriage.

Express your grief. Don't allow it to rule and control your emotions. The Scripture teaches, "Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." Read John 14:22 Don't allow your grief to turn into bitterness-anger-wrath. Be kind & compassionate in the midst of your grief.

Be honest with yourself. If you have experienced a significant loss, you must face it. You must admit it and share your grief with someone who knows and understands grief. Don't keep it bottled up inside. Express your feelings with someone you can cry, laugh &talk openly with.
