Since Dec. 27, Providence has gone on a 12-1-1-0 tear. They blew out Charlotte today, 6-1. The P-Bruins are now only 11 points behind Hershey for the AHL lead even though the Bears have barely slowed down themselves.
@pwilliamsAHL Patrick, it seems like every year lately, it’s the @AHLBruins & @TheHersheyBears battling at the top of the @TheAHL lots of history in these 2 cities! Makes it a lot of fun!! @AHLBruins on a great run!!
@pwilliamsAHL Might have something to do with that WMU Bronco Brandon Bussi! Would be a great series with Brandon vs. Ethen Frank but I would be 🫣! 😂
@pwilliamsAHL The way they're playing, Providence is my dark horse to win the East.
@pwilliamsAHL Their play has undoubtedly improved though in the process of watching most of their home games it certainly makes me question the strength of schedule for them vs other teams. Parity in the league is good but also 12 of the games being against Bridgeport certainly helps
