I remembered telling someone that the latest massive flooding in and around Lagos State has to do with the on going construction of the Lagos Coastal road. The person asked me if I was an Engineer. And just yesterday I read from Punch Newspapers that the FG was planning to demolish more houses along the Coastal corridors to pave way for the construction of new drainages which i believe were never intended before now. I remembered during the early stages of construction a young lady from Arise TV had asked the Minister of Works if they had done the Environmental Impact Assessment EIA before embarking on the construction. The Minister had then minimised such an important query to the young lady's American-type accent. Today, Lagos is now at the mercy of a poorly and hurriedly done job. A mess that might take several years to correct. Well, I no longer think about Tinubu and his supporters. I am more concerned about the person that would take over from Tinubu.
