In the last talk of the PROTASIS Final Workshop, Nicolas Kourtellis (@kourtellis) from @Telefonica, presented a measurement study on the Header Bidding Ad-Ecosystem and the design and implementation of HBDetector, which detects HB auctions on a website at real-time.
How well do the VPN providers configure and secure their network infrastructure? How well are they protecting their customers from other customers? Teemu Rytilahti just presented "Bad Neighbors - How your VPN Provider May Inadvertently Put You in Danger".
Christine Utz (@christine_utz), from the SysSec group @ruhrunibochum talked about "On the Privacy Implications of Paid Website Subscriptions". This work analyzes the paid and free versions of websites with regard to Web tracking and the claims made by the respective websites.
