For the last year I’ve hounded the BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts etc about showcasing new music and bands… won’t even show the replies I received (the BBC never responded) as they’re damp squibs… Need more shows like Later with Jools Holland but it’s not forthcoming… 👎🏼

@CalzyHKR @TherosadocsUK I'm not on the fence 🙂 Bands are seeing smaller bands quit because of lack of funds/exposure but are not helping them. I'm not having a pop at any bands, they need to do what they think is right..... But, it should start with looking to see if they can help in some way

@upcomingbnds I’ve been doing it 32 years cause I can’t not do it, we get married and still do it, we have kids we still do it, you get ignored off promoters we still do it, shit bands make it we still do it, great bands get ignored we still do it, why-cause we fucking love it!
@upcomingbnds …..Cause we love it and music is not only what we do, it’s who we are so when it gets a bit tough and your music is getting ignored, you crack on, write more stuff, send it off to radio stations again in the hope they play it but they end up playing the same old sounding….
