Today, I met with government officials for a lengthy and focused discussion about our work with the European Union to secure the required and continued financial assistance for Ukraine over the next four years.   We talked about the precise decisions that must be made. We make every effort to ensure the stability and resilience of our state's institutions, processes, and functions. And we will. I am grateful to everyone who is assisting and to everyone who guarantees that state interests are protected not only fairly but also thoroughly.

Shocking reports of tragic events in Prague. Innocent people were killed and injured. My sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I wish those injured a speedy recovery.

Today, I received Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori to express my gratitude to Japan for its leading role during the G7 Presidency. Ukraine values the support of the Japanese people and the @Kishida230 government. We are grateful for their comprehensive security and macro-financial assistance. We are glad to have such a powerful ally by our side.

During our call, UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres and I discussed steps to ensure the safety of civilian navigation in the Black Sea. I invited a UN representative to participate in the fourth Peace Formula meeting of advisers and thanked the UN for a separate plan for the winter season. I also noted that Ukraine anticipates the adoption of the UN’s humanitarian response plan for 2024.

Провів телефонну розмову з Генсеком ООН Антоніу Гутеррішем. Обговорили пропозиції щодо гарантування безпеки цивільного судноплавства в Чорному морі. Запросив представника Організації Об’єднаних Націй на четверту зустріч радників з імплементації Формули миру. Дякую за окремий план щодо зимового сезону. Україна також розраховує на затвердження Плану гуманітарного реагування ООН на 2024 рік.

I attended the Christmas Prayer Breakfast. I am grateful to everyone whose prayers include the main request: victory. For the triumph of the human spirit over aggression. For the victory of our unity over any self-serving interests that may want to divide us. And for Ukraine's victory—the victory over the Russian evil that has come to our land and must be expelled. May the Lord hear all of our heartfelt prayers. Glory to Ukraine!

Взяв участь у Різдвяному молитовному сніданку. Дякую всім, у чиїх молитвах звучатиме одне прохання: прохання про перемогу. Про перемогу людської душі над агресією. Про перемогу нашої єдності над будь-якими корисливими інтересами, що можуть розʼєднати. І про перемогу України – про перемогу над російським злом, яке прийшло на нашу землю та має бути вигнане. Хай Господь почує всі наші щирі молитви. Слава Україні!

At the end of this active day, I spoke with Prime Minister of New Zealand @ChrisLuxonMP. Every voice and every state that respects international law and stands ready to defend it is valuable to Ukraine and to our international position. I am grateful to New Zealand for its persistent support for Ukraine, humanitarian mine clearing, sanctions against Russia, and work to advance the Peace Formula. We are now actively working on the next Peace Formula advisors meeting. Step by step, we are making it the Formula of the world’s majority. I am grateful to everyone who contributes to our work.

Last night, the Empire State Building in New York lit up in yellow and blue to draw attention to the thousands of Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia. We are making every effort to bring every child home. I am grateful to every country that has stood with Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion began. This support provides strength to our people.

Shells, weapons, equipment. Our own production. Support for our warriors. We will get through this marathon and achieve our victory. The key is to add to the strength of Ukraine, our country, and our people every day.
