1/ Last night, the Govt issued new guidance for everyone who is clinically extremely vulnerable, but we need specific support for 500,000 people within the group who have compromised immune system and who, as this guidance recognises, the vaccines may not work as well for.

@bloodcancer_uk @fireboyle We just had another #MDS patient meeting, with a newly diagnosed lady who was very surprised to hear no vulnerable letter was planned. Others are starting to book holidays, unaware of the risks!

Speaking up for those #immunosuppressed in the House this morning. We know the efficacy of the vaccine is lower for them and their protection is compromised. It’s important the government supports them with more information and advice on the precautions to take as we unlock.

@DrHollysMum @NHSMillion My gp @coleridgeonline did an FBC “for completeness” which picked up my MDS before it developed into Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. The whole team has provided efficient, compassionate care throughout my treatment journey. As a family we are so very grateful.🙏🏻💙

@Flaminhaystack I'll be wearing one at least until everyone is vaccinated - and probably longer. I'm fully vaccinated but I still don't want to catch it or pass it on. It's good manners.
