I don’t care if Bailey Falter has a 3 start week against Oak, Detroit, and the Pirates, I’m still not adding him to my fantasy team. I don’t care if it’s championship week, it’s Sunday and I’m down 1 K and he’s the only probable left on the waiver wire, I’m still not adding him.
I liked Strickland in the SEC and at Kentucky, he was good on the Cape for the Hyannis and I think he’s a SP. Trading mid level pitching prospects to plug MLB holes is the right thing to do though. And btw, SF farm system is decent so a top 30 prospect is sort of significant.

This is what the Pirates are trying to do. Recreate power with OBP. The problem is, it doesn’t work when no one is afraid to pitch to you. You have to be dangerous at the plate in order for pitchers to fear you and “nibble” at the strike zone.

If the Pirates are out of the race come trade deadline time Connor Joe should bring back a nice return. Multiple years of control left, defensive flexibility, and a track record of getting on base(.379, .338, .339, .386 OBP the last 4 years).

Pierce Coppola looked really good against Arkansas tonight. If healthy he looks like a top 100 pick. He was big time recruit in 2021 but back and shoulder injuries kept him out the last two seasons. The injury concerns could move him to an over slot Day 3 pick.

I double dip on WR in the 3rd and take Franklin or Javon Baker. I also like TJ Tampa, Payton Wilson or Adisa Isaac on the defensive side of the ball.

🔥 Take: Jonah Tong is the 4th best pitching prospect in baseball after Skenes/Jobe/Painter. If the velo ticks up as he matures, he might just be the best pitching prospect in baseball. He also pitches well below his max, so I have fewer concerns about his long term health.
