@EVPuzzle Just enough power is sent to the compressor but not start it which keeps the oil warm and refrigerant in a vapour state and ready to work straight away.

@DpawsonGas @EcoNorfolk @Damon_BPHR Times change and customers will get used to it. You need to make friends with a local fgas guy for when you need a repair. I’ve got an old Nibe to repair, a cylinder of refrigerant is £600 for 9kg but I only need 1.4kg. I get the bottle for 3 months before I start paying rent

@tyas_heat @WinterSling @betateach @_heatgeek I did hope it was a faulty high pressure switch so I can justify a new recovery machine 😂 I’m assuming the required flow temp from WC is in brackets but they are both running the buffer up to 50°c. Best get to Nibe and get some training.

@Ainsdale_Gas They should put some effort into visiting the bad installs instead of picking on those who actively exceed the standards. I’ve handed them a number of bad installs on a plate but they don’t want to know.

@wakefieldboiler 😂 It’s turned out to be a massive loss for them as most of heat pump flow just goes back via the LLH. They won’t pay the £8k to put it right, mcs won’t do anything so it’ll be getting removed and sat on a pallet ready to collect. Hopefully RHI will need returning to ofgem

Any one aware of any poor Dynamis Heat pump installs? 16kw ASHP, 28mm speedfit primary’s, LLH, 22mm secondary pipework and a small secondary pump. Customer has had 2 winters of sub 16°c room temp. Needs a full re pipe at cost of £8k
