Crohn's patients on infliximab and adalimumab (Humira): how many lose response over three years? (link at end of tweet). Great to see this data openly published. As ever, I'm equally keen to know what factors are supporting those in sustained remission. I think the authors should also have given a clinical definition of obesity (for lay interest, if nothing else!). Infliximab was the right fit for me. I began receiving it in 2010, 9 months after starting azathioprine. Despite always having low trough levels, it got me into remission after 6-12 months, and there I stayed... coming off the drug two-and-a-half years ago. Always happy to answer any questions about my experience on infliximab and its biosimilars. #IBD sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
@bottomlineibd I had limited success with Humira and Remicade, within a year my disease was back in play. I've been on Stelara for 3 years now and has been positive throughout. I think the science is finally catching up to my ##crohnsdisease
@peldini Great to hear! We are definitely living in enlightened times insofar as options go. Pleased to hear from you, it's been a while!
