@paulajean2020 THye are pricing us out and buying up "retirement" or "summer homes." And we can't even buy a home to live. Yet, they will hire us to do work for them after raising our cost so high we can't buy here. And they'll buy up property and turn us into renters. It's a problem.
I cannot believe there is a so called progressive 'movement' but nobody is paying attention to what is happening here.

I've noticed Westerners are often treat war like a sport or debate fodder. Glossing over the slaughter and death, and focusing on the theatre of oligarchs. I blame media pundits, but I also think it's b/c we are cushioned from global trauma. It's dehumanizing and callous.

@paulajean2020 THye are pricing us out and buying up "retirement" or "summer homes." And we can't even buy a home to live. Yet, they will hire us to do work for them after raising our cost so high we can't buy here. And they'll buy up property and turn us into renters. It's a problem.
@paulajean2020 There's a big problem with people resettling here. THey are buying out homes near the lakes and for them it's a "good deal," when they just sold their home in New Hampshire for $1M and pay $350K for a home here. Yet, we can't afford the $350K. 1/

@paulajean2020 Liberals are advocates for the status quo more than anything else. Thomas Frank's book is aptly titled "Listen, Liberal" because they cannot listen to anything that conflicts with their image of themselves, and they cannot self reflect.
