If you find the Gray Paper a bit too dense and granular, can we recommend a shorter version with all the important bits? The Polkadot Wiki is a really important resource for explaining how the tech stack fits together: here's the new page on JAM🍓 ➡️wiki.polkadot.network/docs/learn-jam…
@paritytech Can we have Gavin presentation on YouTube 😬😬
@paritytech First connect dot to kusama and then we see... ALL PARACHAINS projects failed...we were waiting 2.0 and now a piece of paper promises
@paritytech @BillLaboon A more useful explanation of Gavin's latest ideas. However similar to the original paper, you'd encounter a mix of abstractions and concrete details at the same abstraction level. Also except for a couple of the proposals, the motivations are not clearly expressed.
@paritytech @gavofyork #Lisk is a great project guys #Web3 #RWA
@paritytech Absolutely, I think the Polkadot Wiki is a fantastic resource for understanding the tech stack. It breaks down complex ideas into digestible content. Thanks for sharing the new page on JAM, I will definitely check it out.
@paritytech Would love to see a breakdown on what it means for devs and users. Possible use cases for smart contracts outside of being a logic layer between parachains. There’s misconception rn of it’s purpose other than being a rollup chain. Ppl assumed there could be evm dapps built on it
