Serious question — anyone else feel the pressure of having babies? Not the pressure from society, but the pressure of wanting your kid to know your parents while they’re younger and have memories with them. I’m the baby of 4. My dad is 72 and my mom is 67 and reality is hitting.
@pagingdrsank As some1 who lost their mom in early 20s, I’d say wait until you’re ready. Yes, you want your kids to have that experience, but it’s not promised. Don’t stress over a situation you can’t control. Wait until you’re ready because at the end of the day, they’re going to look to you.
@pagingdrsank All the timeeee. The first thing I always pray to God for is time.
@pagingdrsank Yes because my mom is my only living parent left. I know she will be the greatest Nana in the world and accept whatever child God gives me without reservation.
@pagingdrsank My mom is 67 this year and I’m her only child. She was ready to be a grandparent and I definitely had the feeling of slight pressure before I was pregnant, especially since my dad passed on.
@pagingdrsank Yep especially in my current situation
