So many of these comments are written on the assumption that code generation tools are frozen in time and won’t improve massively over the coming months and years. The Quality Firewall or lack there of is the missing part for most team, the most sophisticated have already figured it out, other will catchup soon. Manual code review is not the answer, building robust a quality firewall that goes beyond simple linter check and test coverage is the real answer.

There's a difference between orchestrating across all available frontier models and orchestrating between the same family of models. Models are specialising: Anthropic for code, Google for image and video generation, etc. I think Perplexity's advantage in orchestration is underappreciated

@SawyerMerritt @Ryanair are usually very smart and get most things right when it comes to the customer offering, but I think they’ve got this own wrong, the ability to stay connected and do real work while on the move is massively compelling and I’d pay a bit extra for it for sure

@nexxeln Totally agree, the vertical tab implementation on arc is perfect, I can’t go back to not having 100% of the screen real estate for content, tabs appear on hover, disappear when you don’t need them

@icanvardar I love Perplexity, has completely replaced my google use. I also really like teh finance / discover section. The speed of their inference is superior to pretty much any other LLM product I use right now, its consistently fast
