#100DaysOfCode Day 24 - Have been writing more tests and code for the Virtual Pet project with @ManchesterCodes. Have to say I really enjoy TDD - it strengthens my approach to writing code, allowing me to see both sides of the coin, and it makes my code feel more reliable ✅
This is lush. I've been thinking a lot about imposter syndrome (4) recently. I've noticed that I've carried it with me from academia to graphic design and now to tech. Sounds bleak, but actually quite helpful to identify my mind as the common denominator...!

#100DaysOfCode Day 23 - Have spent the day developing my virtual pet using #Jest and #JavaScript. Really enjoyable, and already dreaming about how I could dev the front end... but the real question is: would I even want the interface to resemble anything other than the below?!

#100DaysOfCode Day 22 - at work I used my knowledge of #Git, #CSS and #HTML, acquired through @ManchesterCodes, develop the #FrontEnd for some bespoke functionality (a calculator for a client made with JS & PHP). Even learnt a bit of PHP. Loved using these new skills!
#100DaysOfCode Day 21, setting up my work environment for the virtual pet project. Carried out some testing using Node.js REPL to get a sense of how various files can work together to sustain effective TDD. Hoping that this time next week I'll have a (basic) pet to publish!
#100DaysOfCode Day 20, finishing off my DIY Katas, incorporating TDD methodologies. Looking forward to programming a virtual pet. Will try to make some time later this afternoon to have a dip in the sea... before learning more about OOP through @ManchesterCodes
#100DaysOfCode Day 19, in work I set up my workspace to add some CSS to bespoke functionality written for a client. Felt good to start putting what I've learnt through @ManchesterCodes into practice 😎
#100DaysOfCode Day 18, writing and running tests for JS katas using Jest, for my course with @ManchesterCodes - getting there with it, and v satisfying when all those tests run green. All feels a bit meta but then I guess that's the point!
#100DaysOfCode Day 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 (promise not to do this again!) I have been focussing on JavaScript basics, working through katas for objects, arrays, strings, booleans and numbers. Def the most intense fortnight of the course so far, but rewarding.
#100DaysOfCode Day 9, 10 and 11 - learning that remembering to code isn't the problem, but remembering to tweet about it is. Over the past three days I have focussed mainly on my portfolio, and collaborated on a shared project using #git through @ManchesterCodes
#100DaysOfCode Day 8 - started glamming-up my portfolio using #CSS, and it turns out aligning nav bars is my downfall. Had a day off yesterday (which I'm learning is part of the process) and stumbled across this sky, which I might try to incorporate onto the site somehow.

#100DaysOfCode Day 7 - just completed #CSSDiner. Seeing bento written down so many times made me want food. Feel a bit less terrified by selectors now, and great to have a fun resource on hand for a future refresh - cheers, @ManchesterCodes!
