@CPeterS47 @saintjavelin Agree 100% but no chance to put controls in place for such low volumes. Eg. chinese company buys PCB level components from a chinese non-franchised distri who sources CEMs excess. Origin can be tracked but cost/effort ratio very high imho.

@saintjavelin No surprise. There're many Chinese brokers who sell ICs to anyone if the price is good. + as somebody pointed out this looks like eval kit PCB which could have been purchased from any official distributor. Iran aint producing these drons in milions so not that hard to get ICs..

This is really a record week. I had 32 @LinkedIn invites from Chinese brokers and it is just Thursday. Looks like somebody got really crazy with #semiconductors stocking. And good sign we reached a peak of this crazy allocation market.

62 week lead-time for a piece of plastic? Yes, in current market situation this is becoming not rare. So what we do is making such LTs more manageable. In this case, alternative part which is almost 1:1 replacement is on 16 week LT. #sourcing #electronics #supplychainmanagement

Despite "pandemic" #SupplyChain disruptions, European companies seem not to have learned lesson. Trade deficit with China is growing and this is very bad amid current market situation and #UkraineRussiaWar . But I see more Clients asking for #NearSourcing projects, good direction

So even with own (outdated) foundry where would Integral buy backend parts from? If RU only relies only chips from Integral they are crazy.
