I appreciate the fact that you don’t worship politicians and also don’t believe in personal abuse. I believe in the same things. That’s common ground. This discussion started because you insulted Atiku. You don’t need to worship someone to know he is old enough to be your father. If you cannot respect his age, you should respect his past contributions to growth of democracy in Nigeria. Donald Duke was not at the same level with Obi as governor and will never be. Obi is not a threat to APC, if he was, they will not be pampering NDC the way hey are doing. By now, NDC would have at least 5 case pending before Justices Lifu, Abdumalik and Omotosho. And according to Obidiots, Obi is the threat to Tinubu. Since he joined the NDC they’ve had peace without any concocted cases before Justices Lifu, Abdumalik and Omotosho. They won’t deregister NDC. NDC is an APC SPV they will keep them on the ballot to pretend as opposition to Tinubu. Dickson and Kwankwaso will not do anything, they will leave the Obidients to be making noise on social media. On election day they will write the results and Tinubu will win landslide.

How old were you in 2007? If you knew anything about that government, you would have known that in the first term Obasanjo was busy junketing around the world begging for debt forgiveness. Atiku who by constitution was the head of the economic team was in charge of the country most time. It is debatable that Atiku Abubakar stands as the only VP since 1999 to have exercised the power of that office. All the others have been rubber stamps. Atiku’s only offense was that he stopped OBJ’s third term when decided to become a life president. Nigerians should be grateful to Atiku instead of joining with OBJ to malign him. By now we would have been like Cameroon or Ivory Coast.

Without Kwankwanso his son is a nobody. Atiku has raised his children to be men who can stand on their own and not hiding under their father. That’s something data boys like you cannot relate with because you wish your father was an influential politician too so you can hide under their influence.

@FSYusuff NDC only need one court pronouncement to be de-registered if they were not an appendage of APC. ADC will appeal the case and it will get to the Supreme Court. The whole world will also know about it including Mr Trump. You think ADC is a mushroom party like NDC?

Like I said earlier, there many similar tales of sorrow and tears from people who got the short end of the stick while Obi was a governor in Anambra. Some of them are available publicly. While I sympathize with the pains your family went through becuase of DSC privatization, I can also not in good conscience approve for it to have remained under govt control like the refineries. The pains majority of Nigerians have gone through becuase of petrol scarcity and fuel subsidies in the last 20yrs could have easily be traded for the pain of a few refinery employees who could have found other jobs if they were not retained in the privatized refineries because the industry would have been liberalized 20yrs ago. Also if the refineries were privatized in 2006 and the market liberalized then, Dangote refinery would have been built and completed 15yrs ago and not in 2023. That successive governments after the OBJ/Atiku regime didn’t follow and sometimes messed up the end stage processes doesn’t negate the policies and the work that was put in by the Atiku economic team. It is still on record that that government gave Nigeria the best economy we’ve had in modern times. The economic indicators are there to verify not all these bogus we were number 1 in this or that claims.

That is the price of leadership. If we go to Anambra today, there will be hundreds of people who have similar tales of suffering and anguish from the Obi administration but that doesn’t mean the decisions were wrong. A good leader make decisions that will benefit majority of the citizens. There may be collateral damage but what matters is the corporate good. Would you have preferred DSC remained a waste pipe for Nigeria just like the refineries have been over the past 20yrs?
