Jodie Arias, who killed her ex-boyfriend by stabbing him 27 times and shooting him in the head, explains why she smiled in her mugshot.
Footage shows Jodi Arias reacting to her guilty verdict in court after she brutally stabbed her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, 27 times and shot him in the head. The jury found her guilty of first-degree murder. In the sentencing phase, the jury couldn't reach a decision on the death penalty, leading to Arias receiving a life sentence without parole.
@timecaptales @Morbidful "Okay I know she stabbed him 27 times, shot him in the head, and smiled afterward... but do we REALLY need to give her the death penalty? She kinda cute js."
@KOSMOShion @timecaptales @Morbidful the death penalty is easy rotting in jail for life is worse
@OlcuQap93071 @timecaptales @Morbidful I mean yeah until they get used to it + realize they're getting free food and a roof over their head for the rest of their life. On the tax payer (victims family's) dollar.
@KOSMOShion @OlcuQap93071 @timecaptales @Morbidful This is a hell of a point.
