Or how about this, why didn't the employees do it without Bezoa? Why aren't unorganized collectives of employees doing things? If a founder doesn't matter, where are all of these magical employee ran enterprises worth trillions??? Because most employees just want to put in their 8 hours and go back to their life. Bezos literally thought better about this than anyone else at the time.
