Jon Stewart found to have overvalued his NYC home by 829% after slamming Trump’s civil case as ‘not victimless’ trib.al/haJ6Gmw
@nypost The issue is not whether the buyer paid Jon Stewart more than market value. The question is whether Jon Stewart made material misrepresentations about the space to the buyer in connection with establishing its market value. Thanks for playing.
@nypost When is Leticia James filing charges?
@nypost Look who's calling the kettle black? Jon Stewart's got some splainin to do. Got to be better than "Rule for thee not for me."
@nypost he sold the property for a price, (that means someone thought it was worth that) he didn’t pull a number out of thin air and use said number to secure loans and keep the property
@nypost If Jon Stewart didn’t have his hypocrisy he’d have nothing
@nypost What? Literally nothing in there shows any valuation placed on the home by Jon Stewart.
@nypost Big difference here is the Jon wasn’t overvaluing his one asset for a bank loan and then lowering it to avoid paying those taxes. More importantly, it was his home, not a business. Not exactly a supposed real-estate mogul either.
