Sandy Koufax shows he’s still got it in the 1984 Cracker Jack Old Timers Classic with the big strikeout with his curveball. You’ll want to watch this
@nut_history They need to bring this back. Or have a retired players league. One game a week or month or something. Would be awesome to watch.
@nut_history Loved watching those old timers games! Wish they’d bring them back.
@nut_history Hes 49 there. Looks similar to a 46 year old Jaime Moyer in the 2008 world series
@nut_history Mickey Vernon, Delco Pennsylvania legend at the plate
@nut_history If I had to choose one guy to pitch WS game 7, the decision would take a nanosecond at most
@nut_history I miss Old-timers games. After the second pitch Koufax adjusted his cap, a gesture he did often in his prime. The slow, looping curve all is a thing of beauty. Koufax was the best
@nut_history I remember rumors in about 1970 that he was going to attempt a comeback…was only about 35 at the time. Sadly, of course, didn’t happen.
