🔵→🟠 FARRER (🔵6% vs ⚪️ in 2023) One Nation candidate 🟠David Farley has been elected to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of 🔵Sussan Ley (@sussanley) in the rural outer-western seat of Farrer, which includes Albury and Griffith. #nswpol

🟢 BALLINA (8% vs 🟢 in 2023) Greens Ballina MP 🟢Tamara Smith (@greenstamara) has announced that she will not contest the next election. This could put the northern seat in play for any of the four parties, including the Nationals. #nswpol

🔴 PARRAMATTA (9% vs 🔵 in 2023) Per the Daily Telegraph, 🔵Sreeni Pillamarri (@spillamarri), who currently represents Epping Ward in the Parramatta city council, could run for Liberal preselection in seat of Parramatta. #nswpol

🔵 EPPING (5% vs 🔴 in 2023) Per DT, 🔴Anthony Ellard, a Parramatta city councillor, could run for the increasingly marginal opposition seat of Epping. The seat is currently held by 🔵Monica Tudehope since 2024, from a by-election where Labor did not run. #nswpol

🔵 WINSTON HILLS (2% vs 🔴 in 2023) Per the Daily Telegraph, speculation is mounting that Parramatta city councillors 🔵Tanya Raffoul and potentially 🔵Georgina Valjak will seek preselection to succeed incumbent 🔵Mark Taylor if he chooses to retire. #nswpol

If the party is able to replicate its upper house result from 2023, where 🟡John Ruddick (@johnruddick2) was elected off roughly four-fifths of a quota, Noiosi will likely be elected as the party's second state MP. #nswpol

🟡 LIBERTARIANS IN THE UPPER HOUSE (1 elected in 2023) The Libertarian Party has preselected strata manager 🟡Gemma Noiosi (@gemmanoiosi) as its lead Legislative Council candidate. Noiosi has previously been a candidate for the party at the federal, state and council levels.

🔴 SUMMER HILL (16% vs 🟢 in 2023, 🔵 3CP) 2023 candidate and Inner West councillor 🟢Izabella Antoniou (@izo_ang) will run as the Greens candidate for Summer Hill, setting up a rematch against embattled former transport minister 🔴Jo Haylen (@johaylen). #nswpol

🔴 KIAMA (⚪️1% vs 🔴 in 2023) 2025 by-election candidate and former Shoalhaven city councillor 🔵Serena Copley will again take on 🔴Katelin McInerney (@katelin_mc) as the Liberal candidate for the ultra-marginal seat of Kiama. #nswpol

🔴 EAST HILLS (2% vs 🔵 in 2023) Canterbury-Bankstown councillor 🔵Wendy Lindsay has been selected as the Liberal candidate for East Hills. The former MP for this key government marginal, Lindsay narrowly lost to incumbent 🔴Kylie Wilkinson at the 2023 election. #nswpol

This order means that Higginson and Boyd, the incumbent MPs, have been re-selected in winnable positions, with 🟢Lynda-June Coe again taking the third position on the ticket. #nswpol

🟢Shane Bazzi (@shanebazzi), activist sued by Peter Dutton in 2021 The primary vote counts for each candidate were as follows: Higginson 1,051, Boyd 493, Coe 275, Bazzi 108, Selventhiran 64, Frank 47, O'Leary 11, "Seek other candidates" 5.

🟢 GREENS IN THE UPPER HOUSE (2 elected in 2019, 2 elected in 2023) Member voting in the Greens' upper house preselection process has now concluded, with 🟢Sue Higginson and 🟢Abigail Boyd snatching the top two spots on the ticket.

🔴Mark Morey, currently secretary of Unions NSW, is reportedly considering an upper house run backed by the Right. 🔴Asren Pugh, a Byron shire councillor who was narrowly defeated for mayor in 2024, is reportedly being supported by the Left. #nswpol

🔴 LABOR IN THE UPPER HOUSE (7 elected in 2019, 8 elected in 2023) Per SMH, 🔴Mark Morey and 🔴Asren Pugh (@asrenpugh) are both potentially being supported by sections of the ALP for a winnable spot on Labor's upper house ticket at the next state election.

🟠 ONE NATION DEVELOPMENT Per The Australian, 🟢Wes Fang (@wesfangmlc) is currently being speculated as a potential defection to One Nation. Fang was recently relegated to the eighth position on the Coalition upper house ticket. #nswpol

🟠 ONE NATION IN THE UPPER HOUSE (2 elected in 2019, 1 elected in 2023) Per SMH, 🟠Stuart Bonds (@stuarbonds) will "likely run for an upper house seat" for One Nation at the coming state election. Bonds was the party's Hunter candidate at the federal election in 2025.

One Nation could win as many as five upper house seats based on current state polling, and will be seeking to regain representation in the parliament after a string of recent defections from the party. #nswpol

🟠 ONE NATION IN THE UPPER HOUSE (2 elected in 2019, 1 elected in 2023) Per SMH, 🟠Stuart Bonds (@stuarbonds) will "likely run for an upper house seat" for One Nation at the coming state election. Bonds was the party's Hunter candidate at the federal election in 2025.

With this order, while Mitchell and Overall are probably likely to be re-elected, it will be difficult for eighth-placed 🟢Wes Fang to be covered by a presently declining Coalition primary vote. #nswpol
