🚨Ian Wright issues strong message to the Arsenal fans following the defeat to Aston Villa: “I’ve got to say something about the fans… When we look back at that great Manchester United team, the one thing they had was ‘Fergie Time’, the fans genuinely got behind them and got them through it. “When you look at the amount of Arsenal fans that left the Emirates yesterday that can be very demoralising. They didn’t lose against Bayern, remember what Bayern did to us before? They came back in that game this time. “These players need the fans to stay with them. So for them to leave like they did… It was really sad to see. Because then you’re thinking they genuinely believe that that’s it. I was really disappointed to see that.”
@now_arsenaI Why are people making a big deal out of this why cover up our shameless display
@now_arsenaI Talking like these players didn't give up before the fans did.
@now_arsenaI I don't think the fans can influence that much you are all thinking about. Remember Bayern Munich came at the Emirates with no fans & got a draw, they even came close to winning. Rather the players can influence the fans by showing a fighting spirit & showing a winning character
@now_arsenaI This team can’t compare to serial winners.
@now_arsenaI Spot on from Ian. Maybe his voice is one that will be listened to instead of making excuses for leaving early
@now_arsenaI He's got a point, there's was time to get goals back, but no, fans went home instead of pushing the team over the line, even if it was one goal, that momentum makes a difference vs how it actually played out
@now_arsenaI Im happy at least no one is blaming Ramsdale as we bottled it again
@now_arsenaI It is funny that most Arsenal not fans are calling for Mikel Arteta out. ever since Arsenal came back from Saudi Arabia we are yet to lose any game not until Aston Villa's match but no is really talking about that. All the team needs is the love and support
