I don't understand console fanboys...y'all get excited for a "Pro" model of a console for better graphics and framerates, but you don't want to have a Settings menu in a game to customize your experience
@OhNoItsAlexx The entire point of a console is to have a good out of box experience. If I wanted to spend 3 hours tinkering with settings and fixes in order to achieve the most optimal frame rate/graphics I’d just play my pc
@notnickok @OhNoItsAlexx Tell me you’re a console player and don’t know shit about PC gaming without telling me you’re a console player and don’t know shit about PC gaming
@GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx Dawg. I’m been gaming on pc my entire life. You always need to tweak settings based on your rig. And if you don’t know that, then I doubt you’ve ever owned a pc in your life Sometimes people just wanna buy a game and play it
@notnickok @GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx Tell me what you tweak, because it shouldn’t take you longer than 3-5 minutes tops to tweak game settings, unless you add bindings.
@notnickok @GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx Lol no you don't. The vast majority of times the only settings I have to touch is "Subtitles: On".
@notnickok @OhNoItsAlexx Dawg, when you know your rig’s capacity, all you do is set the resolution and the settings. It takes literally a minute or two. Three if you really want to. If it takes you more than that, you got serious “skills” issues
@notnickok @GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx Something tells me your just saying you have a pc for credibility reasons on this, I usually never go into setting unless I’m turning on the subtitles…or turning off motion blur, other then that I just install and play
@notnickok @GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx This is pretty dishonest, I primarily game on steam deck nowadays and that I would say is something you want to tweak modern games on, but if you've built your rig you should know exactly what it can hit and tweaking settings is quick and easy compared to 25 years ago
@notnickok @GodSpeed_CDN @OhNoItsAlexx In the year since I've switched to PC, almost all the games I played generally automatically set themselves based on my hardware or just start at medium, except Hellblade which maxed everything with RT on. And adjusting those that don't doesn't take more than a few minutes
