I’m honestly not interested in consuming content about how horribly people were treated by their significant others. And more importantly, I don’t believe that constantly being bombarded with information about people being wronged by friends & partners is good for our psyches.
This trend of offloading your relationship (romantic or platonic) trauma onto strangers online, doesn’t appeal to me and doesn’t sit right with me. Stop posting those texts and go to therapy love. Leave us out of it.
@notdanilu @cultureclashash God this, so much. It's nice to understand that bad ppl exist but also, it is so exhausting to only see ick around.
@notdanilu Yesss! As soon as it becomes a 7 minute video and a playlist/series/part 48 etc it’s gone tooooo far!!! Nobody’s trauma is that interesting. A cheeky storytime is enough!
@notdanilu i’m the same way. it can also reinforce negative thinking concerning relationships.. overall unhealthy.
@notdanilu They already try to steer us away from love in music and now we doing it to ourselves unless it’s DV I don’t see the point in sharing that info
@notdanilu The only thing it does for me is make me appreciate being single even more. But it makes me sad seeing the disrespect and lack of care people will tolerate.
@notdanilu My sister and I were JUST talking about this on our way to work . Guard your ear AND eye gates. You will really start to believe that’s reality & attract the same encounters you internalized. It only became your experience bc that’s all you poured into yourself DAILY.
@notdanilu phew!!! I appreciate that content 🙈 It has been the only platform where I gain insight into what people go through in their relationships. #no lover, no friends 🤷🏽♀️
@notdanilu Thank you! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Not to mention these new aged spiritual people trying to get you to break up with your significant other every other day by posting "random psychic readings" to their feeds, I'm about to delete this app for a while and let life naturally take it's course.
