"A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. I'm unsure if I ever told this story but here goes. When I was 3 years old, my grandmother was reading to me and I suddenly started having a seizure. Literally, out of nowhere. I didn't have a fever, nor was I sick. My parent's rushed me to the ER and the Doctor told my parents "I stopped breathing and might not make it' my father was outside ready to pass out and my Mom was pacing the halls. I was eventually brought back and I was given phenobarbital. My mom said I was in a "zombie " like state, walking into walls and I hated the nurses. The doctor comes in and tells my mom "your daughter has epilepsy and will need phenobarbital 3 times a day to keep the seizures at bay" now, epilepsy does not run in our family but febrile seizures do. In fact, my older sister had over 20 of them growing up. Call it motherly intuition or instinct but after 3 days of my little 3 year old self sleeping all day and walking into walls, my Mom made the decision to take me off the medication. She knew I wasn't epileptic and guess what? I never had another seizure, febrile or otherwise. Imagine my Mom did take the Doctor's word as God and kept me on this medication? My life would have turned out quite differently and who knows if I would still be here. Bottomline, never ever let that nagging feeling that something is just not right go. Always get a second and even 3rd opinion. Doctor's are just people, some better than others but what do you call a person who graduated last in his class? A Doctor. Research , do your own homework and be your childs advocate and voice! They're dependent on US to do the work. You spent hours upon hours deciding on which carseat is the safest for your precious child, why not give the same amount of attention and concern towards pharmaceuticals and vaccines?

I'm not a lawyer, and I don't work for anyone's social media account, but I completely disagree with the ruling against Trump last night. It's a total disgrace and unconstitutional. It's actually a shame and will not stand on appeal. The DC judge claimed that when Trump was speaking on January 6 before the protests at the US Capitol, that speech was not protected by his First Amendment rights. Second and more shockingly, the DC judge, Tanya S. Chutkan, also claimed that Trump was not protected by "presidential immunity" on January 6, 2021, while he was still president. These are very false conclusions by the judge. If Trump had sent American troops to capture a terrorist that day or announced it at that gathering, was that a presidential duty or not? The prosecutors claim that the January 6 event was organized by the campaign. That's completely nonsense. When you're President, you're president until you're no longer in office. But I am no lawyer, and I may be wrong. I just believe that this will not stand on appeal.

@kaydaustin I understand exactly what you mean, though mine was stage 1. Oncologist reminds me, and breast surgeon, that cancer cells may be elsewhere and pose a future threat though my lumph nodes were clear.
