Question no one is asking about “work requirements” for assistance: why are jobs paying so little that people with jobs need assistance to pay for rent and groceries?
@ninaturner Replace the president that caused significant inflation and higher interest rates which significantly reduced the value of money and wages.
@ninaturner They have been fleeced by an overbearing government that you and people like you enable.
@ninaturner Raises never match inflation 1-to-1, which is one of the reasons why inflation is dangerous to workers
@ninaturner They’re not. The fed debased the currency at approximately 97% and the people are taxed at between 30-50%.
@ninaturner Because of incessant govt interference in the economy
@ninaturner Because the jobs they are doing are not worth very much and they need to upskill. By the way, asking extraordinarily silly questions is another signal that you're not qualified for the work you're doing.
I'm surprised you don't know this actually. So, when you are an able working American with no disabilities, you're encouraged to get a job, so you can hopefully someday no longer need government assistance. I received SNAP fresh out of high school. No particular need other than I clearly didn't want a job. And while I was given a paper to have managers sign off that I applied, somewhere, once every week day. However, despite me being told the reasoning for this by multiple social workers, not a single one ever followed up, nor even asked me why. Free food stamps with 0 incentive.
@ninaturner What about the "Strongest Economy ever" talking point? These are diametrically opposed positions... how can ameri answer both be doing the best they ever have as reported by the leftist commie regime, but also have people in need of assistance? Yalls lies are starting to catch up
@ninaturner How about: why is everything so expensive? What if there was a cap on prices? This gives the workers’ paycheck more buying power. It would still give the same ‘wealth distribution’ without forcing businesses to fit into to a wage standard that is unreasonable to maintain.
