The largest traffic referrer is Google by a LARGE margin. However, I know we all hate Google right now. So, I've compiled a list of what I feel like are the top alternative traffic sources that bloggers should focus on: - Pinterest - Facebook - Twitter - Reddit - Bing - YouTube - Flipboard - Google Discover (totally different from Search) - Newsbreak - MSN syndication - Yahoo syndication - TikTok - Instagram - DuckDuckGo - Linkedin - Discord - ChatGPT - Tumblr - Quora Like everything, I would recommend starting with 2 or 3 sources that you focus on, then grow from there. As a heads up, we are bringing in experts each week inside the Niche Pursuits Community (google it 😂) to share in-depth strategies for growing these alternative sources of traffic. (Hat tip to SparkToro for the image).
@nichepursuits Is it hard to get to MSN and Yahoo syndication?
@nichepursuits @nichepursuits have you got some sort of hidden vested interest in promoting Flipboard? Course commissions? I notice you've been pushing it a lot recently and it doesn't even feature in the above piechart... 🤔
@nichepursuits I’d be down to talk about Flipboard
@nichepursuits You're speaking my language. It makes all the sense in the world to broaden traffic sources.
@nichepursuits Yes, definitely a smart move to explore other traffic sources. @randfish also shared this (commented) version of the graphic, which explains why the non-Google channels are much more important than we might assume: (x.com/randfish/statu…)

@nichepursuits It is no surprise Google is the Number 1. Kudos to @Microsoft & @bing for being the Number 2. This upsets @YouTube greatly!
