What’s your best non-musical advice for young musicians? I’ve got mine - no joke - pay attention to your posture while you’re working. Especially composer/arranger types. Your body might tolerate a lot of slouching for a while, but that back pain is coming when you hit 27-28!
@rdietz55 Take yourself seriously. You’re not an “aspiring” musician. You’re an actual one. Your work has value. Take others seriously as well. Respect the opportunities that come along and seize as many as you comfortably can.

We are hugely saddened to hear of the passing of the magnificent Robbie Coltrane who played Hagrid with such kindness, heart and humour in the Harry Potter films. He was a wonderful actor, a friend to all and he will be deeply missed.
