"Citadel liquidated 97.5% of its position." You misunderstood the point. Citadel Advisors (the hedge fund) held GME shares. Their most recent 13F indicated that 97.5% of those held GME shares had been sold. This point had nothing to do with the market making business or short positions at all.

@tannerdripjobs The employee could reasonably insist on proceeding to the location that would trigger the start of their pay day, then leave that location to pick up paint while they are being paid. No work task should be completed while not on the clock.
