Why would a player in any sport want to represent a country they don't respect? Taking a knee on the world stage, representing a country you can't even stand for, is the ultimate sign of overflowing ignorance and disrespect.
@nextlevelbb Says the straight white guy. Your reality is not the same as everyone else’s, especially people of color & folks in the LGBTQ community. You can love and want to represent your country while also peacefully demonstrating your desire for said country to treat EVERYONE equally.
@nextlevelbb This is the mistake faux patriots always make. This isn't about love of country. This. Is. About. Futbol. They would have played the same game had Monaco been on the front of their jerseys.
@nextlevelbb You are great talking about baseball but way off on everything else. Kneeling for change is an American right. Those that don’t understand need to re-examine their idea of what exactly they think being an American is. You are better then this. I love your baseball content.
@nextlevelbb Everything doesn't have to fit in a box. People are complex and more than one thing can be true. People have multiple identities and interests and it's ok to represent more than one.
@nextlevelbb God you people are so boring. Come up with some thing new to be fake-outraged about already
