@danidonovan It took me a LONG time as a nt mom of ADHD child to understand that "go clean your room" isn't one thing, it's 800 zillion steps, each with its own distractions.

fucking YES this is so true it’s a million different micro-decisions i’m the same way with grocery shopping “should i get this one? how much is it? should i even buy it?” by the time i finally get home, i’m so tired. too tired to put things away
