He unequivocally states that he doesn’t want people to come to the United States who commit random acts of violence and seek to destabilize our institutions. He unequivocally states that people who commit violent crimes against innocent victims should be put to death. You pretend to not understand the difference in an attempt to score points with your followers. Matt has a coherent and intellectually honest perspective on how a society should be run. You choose to ignore reality and instead attempt to demonize people by taking comments out of context.

Who is negotiating these contracts? Why would we pay anyone a year or two year salary if they’re terminated for cause? This isn’t corporate layoffs that have nothing to do with performance. The people making these financial decisions are incredibly unintelligent and wasteful of other people‘s money.

This is a ridiculous comment. I do vote for people with conservative values. The problem is that conservatives are a significant minority within the city of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. I also don’t have kids that attend public schools in this county, yet I’m responsible for paying for the poor behavior of school administrators. When someone does something wrong that allows them to be sued, they should be held personally responsible. We are way past the time of people with poor morals getting into public positions and then having the citizens bail them out.

I’m so tired of this line about first time offenders. Are we supposed to reward people for not murdering someone before? And it also doesn’t matter how old Karmelo was. He murdered another minor in cold blood and to me 35 years is too light of a sentence. We need to stop coddling these criminals, and we need more Americans to understand that light sentences for violent crimes leads to more violent crimes.

I think it’s more accurate to say that we pay to fund theft, corruption, fraud, and buying votes more than we value securing our future. We have too few honorable people representing us in Congress; we are instead led by grifters and narcissists who view everything through a transactional lens and how it will benefit them. Those politicians do a good job scaring people into voting for them. They convince their base that a vote for someone else will cause them to lose their government handouts. Both major political parties do it, they just have different groups relying on government money.

So much of Europe's descent into failed multiculturalism and the inevitable far-right backlash against it could have avoided if the continent had only allowed itself to be rational about who it allowed inside its borders. But, no, to distinguish between immigrant groups destined to produce generations of hostile leeching residents (e.g., rural Pakistani peasantry, Somalis, Afghans) and those which reliably produce instant net contributors would be "racist" or "Islamophobic" or "neo-colonialist". Nothing has exposed the limitations of contemporary liberal values more than the immigration policies of European nations.

Let me explain why I think Freddy resonates. Lots of Europeans visit the USA as tourists. They visit New York City, or Washington DC, or Hollywood, or Las Vegas, and if they visit natural beauty too, they go to really crowded places like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone. So while they see our cultural and natural icons, they are mostly in blue cities and they therefore also see the decline, the homeless, the drugs, the dirt and the rude, rude Americans. But Freddy is not doing that. Freddy is driving, and he’s doing it through the heartland, where people are kind and polite, the skies are wide open, and the bounty of Buc-ees and Bass Pro Shops are overwhelming. Freddy is not seeing fentanyl and decline. He is seeing the real, hopeful, patriotic, kind America that European tourists rarely traverse. And he loves it. That’s why Freddy is a phenomenon.

None of his comments would be admissible on appeal. An appeal of a criminal conviction can only review whether or not there were egregious legal errors made in the proceeding itself. The world would be a whole lot better off if people would stop spreading hate on topics that they know nothing about.

Progressives constantly do this moralizing bit where they announce anyone who demands a conversation about the consequences of their own policies is morally beyond the pale, as if labeling their critics “bad people” is sufficient to stop the criticism itself. No, actually, we will be having a reckoning with open borders and mass migration. We will be having a reckoning with anti-White hatred. We will be having a reckoning with rootless oikophobic liberals systematically weaponizing every institution in the nation to dissolve the nation itself. We will be having a conservation about identity, tradition, culture, and national belonging. And no amount of Progressive moralizing or name calling is going to stop these conversations from being had, because people can see the consequences of these people’s own policy choices.

How does any of that pass as legal analysis on television? Serious question. What value or insight are they providing to the general public to justify them being on the television discussing the case? If any of the statements are untrue, the Metcalf family should sue them for defamation.
