I remember many of us thought them downing MH17 and killing all of it passengers would be the final drop.

⚡️In a certain way MH17 was the end of Ruschia in Ukraine. Alas, it’s taking a little longer than many of us hoped - in its death agony Ruschia is hanging around like one of those forever chemicals though every day moving further towards homeopathic level dilution. But the trajectory has been clear since in its aftermath, Ruschia was forced to sign Minsk I… “On 4th July 2014 Girkin had to retreat from Slovyansk. A "Superfluous Man" in the mould of Dostoyevsky's "Idiot" Girkin didn't have the leverage among his FSB colleagues to get reinforcements (Bakhmut was a gateway to Slovyansk which is a gateway to Kramatorsk: all are now unattainable goals for Russia). On 17th July 2014 Girkin and three fellow terrorists downed MH17, as the court in the Hague found in its November 2022 judgment. Netherlands was the first country to announce its willingness to provision Ukraine with F-16s. Russia retreated from Severodonetsk (and other important Luhansk cities) on 22nd July 2014 in the wake of stringent post-MH17 sanctions. @nastasiaKlimash I was one of them, and I have been disappointed uncountable times ever since. 🇺🇸🇺🇦
@nastasiaKlimash Really? I remember thinking of a powerless Netherlands hooked up on russian gas
@nastasiaKlimash it seems the US strategy is to save Russia from an Ukrainian victory
@nastasiaKlimash On a personal level that's kinda what did it for me with never believing/seeing russia as redeemable. I was able to look past things and give some benefit of the doubt to "separatists" until then. But no, they're just evil, *responsible*, and not to be reasoned or negotiated with
