I'm sorry but if the best we can do for male role models is Andrew Tate, then we deserve to go extinct. Fortunately though, that's not the case. There are coaches, teachers, inventors, scientists, researchers, engineers, etc...so many fantastic men to admire and look up to. People who make the world better. If you're not seeing them as potential role models but think an influencer with a Lamborghini is worth looking up to, then it is a YOU problem.
This post btw isn't so much about Tate specifically as it is about who we value as a society. Toxic or shallow influencers or people who might not be as famous but are decent and accomplished humans who have a positive impact on the world? This goes for women too btw.
@mysteriouskat Well said. Let's also not forget the hardworking decent fathers who dedicate their lives to their communities & their families.
Well women spent the last 50 years calling actual male role models toxic. So here we are and Tate is unfortunately what you get when you have an entire system that has celebrated single motherhood and the dissolution of the nuclear family. Young men are starved for attention and something to aspire to. I personally think Andrew Tate is a terrible role model but I understand why it’s happening.
@mysteriouskat You could say the exact same thing about the Kardashians
There is a guy on YouTube called Derik Beiri who runs a channel called vice grip garage. He is a role model if I ever seen one. Finds old cars repairs them then drives them home. He also works on old cars at home with his boys teaching them stuff and treats his Wife Jessica with so much respect. He sometimes takes his boys with him to do revivals and then do touristy stuff with his kids on the way home. Much respect
@mysteriouskat I don't like Andrew “Feminist” Tate?
@mysteriouskat Mom's & Dads: find out if your young sons are watching tate because you do not want them hearing this garbage!
