I think what's cool about school abolition specifically is it's easy to envision changes pretty much immediately on seizing power - why would there be mandatory attendance under a DotP? Why would teachers maintain authority over anyone? We could do away with that right away.

We'd immediately see a transformation away from the formalities of education - exams, qualifications, rigid syllabus - and leave only that which people want to engage in and learn about themselves. Were painfully aware of this disconnect today already (I srsly love this tweet sm)
@muke10101 Could you point to some past or present education model (ex: Ferrer schools) that comes closest to what you're advocating? Most modern progressive education models increase student autonomy, but keep structures (& authority) that help students learn, like Montessori work plans.
