A St. Louis judge has ruled that Republican and Anti-Trans Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey can have access to Planned Parenthood’s transgender care records. Judge Michael Stelzer ruled Bailey can collect documents under Missouri’s consumer protection statute that aren’t protected under federal mandate, HIPAA. Last year Bailey attempted to implement a ban on gender-affirming care for people of all ages. Bailey says he wants to get to the bottom of how clandestine network of clinics has subjected children to puberty blockers and irreversible surgery. In reality, providing trans and nonbinary children with gender-affirming care actually makes them safer and it makes them less likely to consider suicide. Planned Parenthood will fight the decision. Cruelty is always the point with Republicans. #VoteForEquality #DemThoughts #DemsUnited
@FeistyLibLady #VoteForEquality This is horrific. I lost a close friend a couple of months ago who was transgender. I called in the welfare check. I miss Avi so much. 💔 I still cannot delete our texts or his contact information. My heart is still broken.
